ABOUT ALYSSA
Alyssa is a writer and graphic designer from Painesville, Ohio, whose creative journey spans more than a decade in both fields. After years in the corporate world, she made the deliberate decision to step away and commit herself fully to creative work. Today, she works as a professional ghostwriter and as the founder of AceVision Magazine, an LGBTQ+ publication dedicated to queer storytelling, artistic freedom, and amplifying marginalized voices. For Alyssa, creative work is more than a profession—it is the way she connects with the world and gives voice to stories that matter.
Her passion for writing began early. At just ten years old, a simple school journal assignment sparked something that would shape the course of her life. From that moment on, she never stopped writing. Nearly two decades later, that spark has carried her through the ghostwriting of thirteen published novels, with more in progress. Each project has been both a challenge and a gift, allowing her to step into the lives of others, give shape to their stories, and see her words take root in the hands of readers.
Alyssa has always believed that writing and design are inseparable halves of her creative soul. To her, words and visuals serve the same purpose: to tell a story that resonates, lingers, and inspires. Whether she is building a narrative from scratch or shaping the look and feel of a publication, she brings a unified vision and a strong sense of voice to her work. She can’t imagine a life where she isn’t balancing both disciplines, letting each one inform and strengthen the other.
Driven by passion, she hopes to achieve her lifelong dream: seeing her own novel on a Barnes & Noble shelf. Until then, she happily writes alongside her sleepy beagle-border collie, Asiago.
